Happy July everyone,
It’s been a minute since the last post on She’s A Tomboy. I missed you 🙂 . It feels good to be back after some time off to be with family and friends. Life demands of us to stop, appreciate and be with them because they keep us where we need to be.
I recently took a trip to Lake Nakuru National Park just to appreciate the amazing beauty that is Kenya! Kenya is a beautiful country: you see it in the people and if you miss it, then nature gives you the perfect picture of what beauty feels like in touch and sight. There is one thing that I know for sure, if anyone ever got lost and didn’t know where to go, Kenya would be the perfect place to call home.
What to wear…
There is a new guy in my wardrobe that has become my best companion to most of these wild safaris. To be honest, when I got the safari boots, it was out of shear curiosity! One of those little wild wishes that I have had since I was young. I don’t know what took me so long to get them… they are tough, comfortable and shout Africa from a mile.
Pairing them with the safari jacket, ripped jeans and a t-shirt was just perfect! The jacket is an ideal option for packing anything and everything you might need in a day: cell phone, planner, charger, wallet, sunglasses. For those of us who rarely carry handbags, nothing beats this… and you might even be able to squeeze in some food if you are a foodie like me.
Any thoughts… Let me know.
